Spicy Sausage and Hot Honey Feta Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ea. 16" Pizza dough, prepared, frozen
- 8 oz. Hillshire Farm® Old World Specialties® Spicy Italian-Style Sausage, Large Chunk
- 4 oz. Feta Cheese, crumbled
- 2 oz. Mozzarella, shredded
- 1 oz. Hot Honey
- 1 tsp. Chili Flakes
- 6-7 ea. Basil, pluches
Our Spicy Sausage and Hot Honey Feta Pizza is the perfect mix of heat, sweet and creamy goodness. It's made with Hillshire Farm® Spicy Italian-Style Sausage , crumbled feta, mozzarella, chili flakes and a crowd-pleasing hot honey drizzle, then finished with fresh basil for a bold, flavorful twist on classic pizza.
Directions
- Thaw dough over night on an appropriately sized tray or pizza screen.
- Pre-heat impingment conveyor pizza oven to 500°F.
- Place pizza dough on a flat work surface.
- Top with mozzarella cheese, then feta, and finish with sausage, evenly distributing them over the top of the pizza.
- Cook in impingment oven with the belt speed set at 4-5 minutes. Cheese should begin to brown and the crust turn golden.
- Remove pizza from the conveyor. Allow to cool 1-2 minutes then slice into 8 equal slices.
- Finish with a drizzle of hot honey over the pizza.
- Garnish with chili flakes and basil pluches prior to serving.
